This large scale project, titled Chronicles of the Second War: Tides of Darkness, intends to not only remaster both original campaigns, but also add Warcraft 3 hero design and sidequests, as well as tying together story elements from World of Warcraft and the background books. Once such dream is coming to life, as Warcraft 2 is being remade and remastered by an ambitious group of fans from the Hive Workshop. Since Warcraft III: Reforged was announced, fans of the RTS series have dreamed of all the new new mod possibilities using the upgraded engine.
